SOUTHERN APPALACHIAN WORK CENTER
The Southern Appalachian Work Center (SAWC) is a fully equipped facility that provides Trail Maintenance and Outreach support to the Appalachian Long Distance Hikers Association (ALDHA), the Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC), and all southern AT Communities and Trail Maintaining Organizations on the Appalachian Trail. The Southern Appalachian Work Center will also support all other organizations that support and maintain other trails that are adjacent to the Appalachian Trail.
OUR MISSION AT the SOUTHERN APPALACHIAN WORK CENTER (SAWC)
The Southern Appalachian Work Center is fully equipped to support all manner of trail work to include logistical support of large group trail maintenance events.
The Southern Appalachian Work Center will maintain a strong outreach presence on the entire length of the Appalachian Trail via:
1. Website Networking
2. Social Media
3. Trail Event Attendance
4. Organizational Merchandise Sales

The Southern Appalachian Work Center will conduct regular trail maintenance in partnership with local trail maintaining clubs, ALDHA, ATC, and designated Appalachian Trail Communities. SAWC will also provide assistance via:
1. Class B Felling and Bucking
2. Large Group Trail Event Support
3. Trail Work Model for AT Communities
